Mytee Warranty

Mytee Warranty Policy

If you are purchasing Mytee equipment, understanding the manufacturer's warranty before you buy is important. Mytee provides limited warranty coverage on new equipment purchased directly from Mytee or through an authorized Mytee dealer or service center.

Rightlook is an authorized Mytee dealer, which means qualifying Mytee equipment purchased from Rightlook is eligible for Mytee's manufacturer warranty according to the terms of the current Mytee Limited Warranty Policy.

How Long Is the Mytee Warranty?

Mytee warranty coverage varies depending on the component.

1-Year Parts and Labor Warranty

New Mytee equipment includes a 1-year limited warranty on parts and domestic labor beginning on the date of the original purchase.

Coverage applies to manufacturer defects, defects in workmanship, and defects in materials as determined by Mytee.

Normal wear parts are not included.

2-Year Major Components Warranty

Mytee provides a 2-year limited warranty on major components, including:

  • Pumps
  • Vacuum motors
  • Floor machine motors
  • Heaters

This portion of the warranty covers the replacement cost of a qualifying component. Shipping and labor are not included under the second-year major-component coverage.

Coverage does not apply when a component shows evidence of freezing damage, abuse, misuse, neglect, tampering, or normal wear and tear.

10-Year Rotationally Molded Housing and Tank Warranty

Mytee provides a 10-year limited warranty on rotationally molded housings and tanks against manufacturing defects, defects in workmanship, and defects in materials.

Replacement does not include shipping or labor costs.

Coverage can be void when there is evidence of abuse or neglect.

Does the Mytee Warranty Require an Authorized Dealer?

Yes.

Mytee's warranty policy requires qualifying equipment to be purchased directly from Mytee or through an authorized Mytee dealer or service center.

Products sold by unauthorized sellers are not covered by Mytee manufacturer warranty or manufacturer support.

This is particularly important when comparing Mytee equipment sold through online marketplaces or unfamiliar third-party sellers. A lower purchase price does not necessarily mean the equipment will carry manufacturer warranty protection.

Rightlook is an authorized Mytee dealer.

When you purchase qualifying Mytee equipment through Rightlook, your purchase is made through an authorized sales channel and is eligible for applicable Mytee warranty coverage according to Mytee's warranty terms.

When Can the Mytee Warranty Be Voided?

Mytee's warranty does not cover equipment showing evidence of improper or abnormal use.

Examples identified by Mytee include:

  • Misapplication
  • Abuse
  • Lack of maintenance
  • Negligence in use or care
  • Abnormal use
  • Alteration of the original design
  • Use of incompatible or corrosive chemicals
  • Use in a rental service
  • Unauthorized servicing
  • Unauthorized installation of parts
  • Repairs performed by someone other than Mytee or an authorized Mytee dealer or service center

Mytee equipment is designed for commercial, industrial, or institutional use by adults who understand the proper application and operation of the equipment.

How Do I Get Mytee Warranty Service?

If you believe your Mytee equipment has an issue covered by the manufacturer's warranty, have your proof of purchase available and review the warranty terms before requesting service.

You may contact the authorized Mytee dealer from whom you purchased your equipment, locate an authorized Mytee service center, or contact Mytee directly when appropriate.

Mytee recommends contacting them or an authorized dealer or service center promptly after discovering a potential warranty issue and before continuing to use the affected equipment.

The equipment may need to be inspected by Mytee or an authorized Mytee dealer or service center before a warranty claim is approved.

Who Provides Technical Support for Mytee Equipment?

Mytee provides factory technical support for its equipment.

For operating questions, troubleshooting, parts, repairs, technical documentation, or warranty-service questions, Mytee's factory support resources should be your primary technical resource.

Mytee also provides product manuals, parts lists, technical documentation, service-center information, and warranty-support resources for its equipment.

Does the Mytee Warranty Transfer to a Second Owner?

Mytee's limited warranty is available to the original purchaser only.

Warranty coverage begins on the date of the customer's original purchase.

If you are considering purchasing used Mytee equipment, do not assume that the remaining warranty period transfers with the machine.

Do Mytee Replacement Parts Have a Warranty?

Spare parts purchased directly from Mytee receive limited warranty coverage for 90 days from the date of purchase, subject to the conditions of Mytee's warranty policy.

Does the Mytee Warranty Cover Rental Equipment?

Mytee specifically excludes equipment used in a rental service from warranty coverage.

This is different from a rental-car company or fleet operator using Mytee equipment internally to clean its own vehicles. The restriction applies to the Mytee machine itself being used as rental equipment.
