Start with a clean, dry vehicle. Work one or two panels at a time. Spray directly on the surface, onto a microfiber towel, or onto an applicator block.

Is Shine Zilla a ceramic coating?
It is a ceramic detail spray. It uses SiO2 like a coating, but it goes on in minutes with no cure time. It is easier to apply and does not last as long as a professional coating.
How long does it last?
One application lasts for months. Many owners still apply it after every wash because fresh Shine Zilla gives the deepest gloss. It is safe to use as often as you like.
Can I use it on my ceramic coated car?
Yes. It is safe on ceramic coatings and makes a great topper to refresh them.
Is it safe on PPF and wraps?
Yes. It is safe on PPF, vinyl wraps and vinyl lettering. Do not use it on matte or satin finishes, because it adds gloss.
Can I apply it to a wet car?
No. Wash and dry the vehicle first for the best bond.
Why do I see streaks?
Usually the towel is saturated with product. Switch to a clean, dry microfiber for the final buff and the streaks wipe away.
How much do I need?
A few sprays per panel. A 16 oz bottle covers several applications on an average car.
Is it made in the USA?
Yes.
Why do I need two towels?
The first towel spreads the product and picks up the excess. It gets saturated fast. A second clean, newer microfiber for the final wipe-down removes what is left and leaves a crisp, streak-free finish. This two-towel method is the secret to a pro-level result with any spray product.
What kind of microfiber towels work best?
Soft, plush microfiber towels that are clean and in good shape. Save your newest towels for the final wipe-down. Wash towels without fabric softener, which clogs the fibers and causes streaks.
Can I use it in direct sun?
It works best in the shade on a cool surface. On a hot panel the product flashes too fast and is harder to buff out. Work early, late, or under cover.
Will it hide swirls and scratches?
It helps hide light swirls and fine hairline scratches, especially on black and dark colors. It does not remove them. For deeper defects, the paint needs to be polished.
Can I apply it over and over?
Yes. It is safe to use as often as you like. Many owners apply it after every wash to keep the gloss at its peak.
Can I use it on a new car?
Yes. A new car is the perfect time to start. It adds gloss and protection from day one.
Can I use it on matte or satin finishes?
No. Shine Zilla™ adds gloss, which changes the look of matte and satin paint and wraps.
Where should I NOT use it?
Anywhere that needs grip. The finish is very slick, so keep it off floors, steps, boat decks, swim platforms, pedals, foot pegs, steering wheels and grips. Also skip matte and satin finishes.
What if I get it on the glass or trim?
No problem. It is safe on glass, trim, plastic and chrome. Just wipe and buff like any other surface.
